Monika Bansal

Monika brings decades of experience in software engineering within the healthcare industry, where she focused on developing technology solutions that enhance quality of life. Throughout her career, she has also been deeply engaged in charitable work and purpose-driven initiatives. Her contributions include organizing events to create “hand buddies” for hospice patients, offering comfort and connection during end-of-life care. She has also led community fundraising efforts to support educational opportunities for underprivileged children.

 

Since retiring, Monika has devoted her time to giving back, with a particular focus on addressing one of society’s most urgent challenges—homelessness. Through her work with SoHSV, she successfully organized the “Listen First” fundraising campaign, an initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices of individuals experiencing homelessness and ensuring their stories are heard and respected.

 

Guided by a strong sense of compassion and responsibility, Monika is committed to advancing efforts that provide safe, stable housing for those in need. She believes everyone deserves dignity, security, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. By combining her lifelong problem-solving skills with a passion for service, Monika aims to make a meaningful, lasting impact and help build stronger, more compassionate communities.
