Our Story
Why we began Seeds of Hope
and what we are doing
At Seeds of Hope, we believe that everyone deserves safe, dignified housing, and the opportunity to live, work and be supported in and through a real community.
And for people who have been homeless for a year or more, the best possible place for them to live and thrive again is one that provides permanent housing and community, along with supportive onsite services.

It's been done before
Take a look at the Community First! Village in Austin, Texas. They created a community of tiny homes for individuals who have been homeless for one year or more.
Their residents live and work together, pay affordable rent and can live there as long as they want.

Seeds of Hope - Silicon Valley
We create communities where long-term homeless individuals can live & work together, and thrive once again

It really works
Community First has housed hundreds of previously homeless people and has provided them with opportunities to make a dignified living again. You can see more in this video.
The model is working so well that communities like these are being built in other cities, like Livermore, California and Tacoma, Washington.

We can do it here
Seeds of Hope is committed to building a community where chronically unhoused people in Silicon Valley can live together - permanently, in a supportive community, so they can live, work and thrive together once again.
