Seeds of Hope - Silicon Valley
v1 - We create communities where the long-term homeless can live & work together, and thrive once again

Homelessness has become a crisis
The Silicon Valley is known for technology and innovation, but it also has the largest homeless population in the United States.
There are 10,000 unhoused people in Santa Clara county today, and the number continues to rise. Many sleep outdoors and have no protection from threats, harassment, and forced relocation.

The chronically homeless need community
People who have been homeless for a year or more can recover when they can live in a permanent housing community with others, that allows them to live, work, and thrive together again.

Our Mission
Seeds of Hope is developing a large scale master-planned community of permanent housing with onsite supportive services in the Silicon Valley for chronically homeless residents, based on the proven models currently used at at Community First in Austin, Texas and Goodness Village in Livermore, California.

Progress so far
We have support from local businesses, philanthropists and civic leaders. We have identified several properties and are working with State and Local governments to secure the approvals to build our first community.
