Haris Jilani

Haris is a Bay Area native who completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at California State University, Monterey Bay. During his undergraduate years, he held various roles: a quality assurance analyst, a software engineering fellow, and a teaching assistant.

 

Haris enjoys creating software applications and specializes in Java, Python, C++, Spring Boot, and React. He created an incentivized student dashboard where students can earn coins for task submission and good class participation. Teachers can create bubbles for students that demonstrate a given character trait which students can pop to earn coins.

At Seeds of Hope, Haris uses his drive for social justice to help support the mission of housing the homeless. Utilizing his software engineering skills, he aims to push the mission forward.
